Terms of Service

The Parties

These Terms of Service govern your use of partyprincessproductions.com and any booking made through it. Party Princess Productions is a brand of Characters IO LLC, based at 1600 E. 4th Street, Santa Ana, CA 92701 ("we," "us," or "the Company"). By requesting a quote, submitting a booking, or paying a deposit, you ("you" or "the Client") agree to these Terms.

Booking & Deposits

Deposits

A deposit is required to reserve your character, date, and time. Your event is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due on the day of the event, and a 3% fee applies to card payments.

All Payments Are Final

All payments — deposits and final balances — are final. We do not issue refunds for any reason, including cancellation, dissatisfaction, or a change of plans.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

If you need to cancel a booking, your deposit is not refunded, but it may be held as a credit toward a rescheduled event for up to one year from the original event date. Credits not used within one year are forfeited. We're happy to help you find a new date as long as the requested time and character are available.

Weather, Illness & Performer Substitutions

Performers cannot appear outdoors in rain, extreme heat, or other unsafe weather, so please have an indoor backup location ready for outdoor events. If your originally scheduled performer becomes unavailable due to illness, weather, or an emergency, we will provide a substitute performer in an equivalent costume and character whenever possible so your event can proceed as planned.

Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for providing a safe environment for our performers, including a private space to change if needed, accurate event details (address, timing, and access instructions), and adult supervision of guests throughout the visit. Please share any allergies, sensitivities, or special needs in advance so we can prepare accordingly.

Photos & Marketing Usage

We may take photos or video during your event for our own records. We will only use images that identifiably feature you, your child, or your guests in marketing, social media, or advertising with your prior consent, and you're welcome to decline or withdraw that consent at any time by contacting us.

Limitation of Liability

We carry commercial general liability insurance and take reasonable care in providing our services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from a booking is limited to the amount you paid us for that event, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or a booking will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Orange County, California.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting and apply to bookings made after that date. Continued use of our site or services after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
